Cowan Railroad Days - June 3,4&5, 2011

Vendors Welcome!  Booth space is $50 for 12x12 or $100 for 12x24.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Rain or shine; outdoor festival centered around the railroad depot in Cowan, TN.  Map & Directions

FRIDAY, June 3

5:15 - 6:00 pm - Heavenly Bound Cloggers

6 pm - Beauty Pageant  Registration 
     Entry fee is $20.00 for the first child in a family $15.00 each additional. The pageant is a FORMAL event. Plan to be there by 5 pm.
     Optional Most Photogenic entry is $15.00 for each contestant. There will be a Most Photogenic in each age category. 
     There will be a winner, 1st and 2nd runner up in each age group.  We will award a crown and sash to each winner, a tiara to each runner up. Photogenic winners receive tiara and sash.  Each contestant will receive a goody bag on stage.

Don & Karen McNatt - have cancelled for Friday night, due to a death in the family.

SATURDAY, June 4

6:30 am - 5K Run Registration  Registration 
Sponsored by Franklin County United Bank and Citizen's Bank

     Start and finish at Railroad Museum.
     Registration begins at 6:30 am; 5K Run/Walk begins at 7:30 am.
Cash prizes for overall male and female.  Medals will be awarded for the first, second and third place winners in each of ten age groups.  Pre-registration cost $15 with payment received before May 25.  Late and day of registration cost:  $20.

10:00 am - Water Balls - Think human hamster balls.  This should be a blast.  Free for children, $5 for adults.  Water Balls

10:00 am - Littlest Hobo Contest - ages 2 to 10.  Dress up your little one for this free competition.

11:00 am - Total Tumbling

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm – Square Dancers  from Estill Springs

1:00 pm - Sonny's Dance Studio

2:00 pm - Robert L. Clarkson

3:00 pm - Mark Kelly Hall 

4:00 pm - Classic Car Cruise In

6:00 pm - Talent Show  Registration

     Come showcase your talent.  Entry fee is $25, and top prizes of $150 will be awarded to winners in two age groups:  20 and older, and 20 and under.  Entry form must be received no later than May 25.
