2017 Annual Membership Meeting

CRM Annual Membership Meeting will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Cowan Center for the Arts Education Building (303 Montgomery St., Cowan).
Doors will open at 6:30 pm.

Program will include a visual review of accomplishments, presentations and plans for the New Year.

Elections for the Board of Directors 2017-2019 will be held at this meeting. Several of our current directors have served for over 8 years, and new board members bring ideas and vitality to the organization. Please consider serving for a 2 year term.

Two major changes will be discussed:  an increase in membership dues, and charging admission to the museum.  This is your chance to voice opinions and vote on these issues.

As members we share in the input, leadership, and focus of our museum. We are in this together and still moving forward!

Payment of Membership Dues

The New Year means it's time to pay our annual membership dues!

Dues are, once again, $10 per person for a one-year membership.

Dues can be paid by the following methods:

  • By check via US Mail to CRM, PO Box 53, Cowan, TN 37318
  • On-line using our secure PayPal service (button below).
  • At the door of the Annual Meeting (plan to arrive early).

Here's How It Works...

Cowan Railroad Museum works for us!

Our downtown landmark makes Cowan stand out among small towns where most of the historic depots are long gone!  CRM works to keep Cowan on the map!

The museum welcomes over 3,000 registered visitors every summer plus thousands more unregistered visitors.  These tourists patronize local businesses.  These activities create jobs and generates revenue - that's how our economy works!

For CRM to continue working, we need workers to keep us in motion.

We hope you will resolve in 2017 to do any of the following:

  • Pay your annual membership dues so we have a healthy budget to work with;
  • Step out and work as a tour guide during the summer or help with one of our work days to keep things in good repair;
  • Run for a seat on the board of directors and put your energy and ideas to work

Cowan Railroad Museum has a 41-year track record thanks to the commitment of people in Cowan and the larger South Cumberland region!  Your commitment keeps our museum in motion!

All Aboard for 2017!
