Historic 1904 Railroad Depot

Wood frame depot, circa 1904 with modifications sustained over the years. Originally built by the NC&StL (Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis) railway.

Moved from its original in-service position across the current CSX Mainline and generously set back outside the right-of way for safety.

The building is a marvelous example of Railroad Gothic architecture and craftsman style construction. It is currently painted in the style and colors (Yellow and Green) of the original builders and owner.

The building is currently slated for full renovation while keeping its originality as much intact as possible.

The depot as it is today.

The Depot being moved across the tracks, September 21, 1976.
