As of April 22, 2024, we have 70 members. Can we make it to 100? Join us today and we will make it happen!

April 25: Tour Guide Training COurse
Have you thought about giving tours at the museum? We are ready to train you and and pencil you into our flexible calendar!
Join us on Thursday, April 25th, 5:00 p.m. for our 90-minute tour guide training class. We will provide you with a helpful printed booklet that's yours to keep.
If you would like to help staff the museum on a regular basis, you can sign-up for a three-hour shift on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. Or you can also join Extra Board and be on-call for group tours and substitutions.
All who complete the training and either sign-up for the schedule will be provided with a uniform shirt and a name tag. To reserve a spot in the tour guide training, leave a voicemail at (931) 967-3078.

May 22: Fall Festival Planning Committee
The Fall Heritage Festival is Franklin County's largest annual event and Cowan Railroad Museum's largest fundraiser!
We encourage you to attend our next Planning Committee meeting on May 22, 6 p.m. at Cowan City Hall.
The festival will need additional workers and planners in 2024 in order to keep our 11-year momentum going strong!
